Job Description
CrossFiber is a venture-backed private company developing the world’s smallest and least costly reliable optical switches for fiber optic networks. We are looking for an exceptionally self-motivated Senior Hardware Engineer to join our product engineering team in San Diego, California. In this position you will report to the Director of Engineering to work on an embedded system design and its implementation. The position requires at least a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. Real-time programming experience is a must. An MS in Electrical Engineering and working knowledge of control loops and test systems will be pluses. Design and development experience with both digital logic circuits (FPGA) and high-voltage analog circuits will be additional pluses. The successful candidate will be an energetic, enthusiastic and tenacious teamplayer with strong communication and hands-on skills, who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
